AISSLab is thrilled to announce that Professor Mugahed A. Al-Antari, our lab director and Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Sejong University, delivered a distinguished keynote lecture at the International Symposium on Engineering (ISoE-2025), held on November 21, 2025, at the Engineering Lecture Complex, School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India.
The symposium, themed "Advances and Innovation in Engineering for a Sustainable Future," brought together undergraduate students, postgraduates, PhD scholars, academicians, and industry professionals to explore cutting-edge research in AI, machine learning, data science, IoT, and sustainable technologies. Professor Al-Antari's talk, titled "The Future of Clinical Intelligence: Multimodal Medicine Powered by VLLM, Agentic AI, and MCP Frameworks," was featured as Keynote Speaker 03 in the JC Bose Hall from 2:00 to 2:30 PM. The presentation highlighted AISSLab's pioneering work in vision-language large models (VLLM), agentic AI systems, and model context protocols (MCP) for advancing multimodal medical imaging, automated diagnostics, and clinical decision support particularly in spine disease analysis and beyond.
Hosted by JNU's School of Engineering, the one-day event included inaugural sessions, oral and poster presentations, project exhibitions, and additional keynotes from global experts, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Professor Al-Antari's invitation underscores AISSLab's growing international recognition and our commitment to driving AI innovations that bridge engineering, healthcare, and sustainability.
