We are proud to announce that our esteemed lab head, Professor Mugahed A. Al-antari, Ph.D., has been granted Korean nationality under the “Special Naturalization for Outstanding Talents” program. Originally from Yemen, Professor Al-antari has made significant contributions during his time in Korea, where he completed his Ph.D. and continued to excel in his academic and research endeavors.

In recognition of his exceptional talent and dedication, the Korean government honored him with nationality at the 2024.09.02 Nationality Award Ceremony (한국 국적수여식). This prestigious program aims to recognize and reward individuals who have shown remarkable achievements in their fields.

Professor Al-antari’s journey from Yemen to Korea stands as a testament to the global nature of scientific research and the opportunities available in Korea for outstanding talent from around the world.
