I recently had the pleasure of hosting a special lecture at Jeonbuk National University, in collaboration with the National University Promotion Team, on the fascinating topic of XAI-based VLLM for medical applications. It was a truly engaging session, and I'm excited to share some reflections on the event.
The lecture, held on April 12th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM KST, explored the cutting edge of AI in healthcare, focusing on the transformative potential of Explainable AI (XAI) and Vision-Language Language Models (VLLM). We delved into how these advanced technologies are poised to revolutionize diagnostics, treatment, and patient care. The discussion covered the evolution of AI, from its early stages to the current advancements, and looked ahead to the exciting possibilities the future holds.
We were honored to have Prof. Alantari Mugahed Ali Shawqi, a leading expert in the field, deliver a compelling and insightful presentation. Prof. Shawqi's expertise and passion for the subject were evident, making the complex concepts accessible and engaging for the attendees.
The online format, via Zoom, allowed for broad participation, and the Q&A session was particularly lively, with many attendees eager to explore the implications of XAI and VLLM in their respective fields.
This lecture was a valuable opportunity to connect with students and professionals passionate about the future of healthcare. It reinforced the importance of continued exploration and collaboration in the field of AI, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it.
